• Why use a Handyman? A professional handyman can solve many problems around the house, for example I am painting a window and have found extensive rot - call a carpenter? - no i have cut in a piece of new timber.
• What rates do you charge? Typically, I like to view a job before quoting, and I find customers like a fixed price. So, you will always know the price in advance.
• Do you include materials in your quotes? Materials are usually extra, unless specifically mentioned in your quote. However, some standard items can be included (white paint, fillers, sandpaper etc.)
• Are there jobs that you will not take on? Some jobs need specialist tools, expertise or are prohibited by legislation. I will always advise if your project needs a specialist and I can co-ordinate this for you
• Which paints do you recommend? For exterior work i prefer Dulux weathershield, and Dulux or Crown for interior woodwork.
